We’re looking for a hospitality professional who enjoys connecting with people, sharing the story behind our wines, and representing our estate with confidence and genuine warmth.

Role Overview: The Tasting Room Ambassador is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for hosting guests, guiding tastings, and supporting the daily flow of the tasting room. This is a guest-facing role ideal for someone who is personable, professional, and passionate about wine. Sales skills are valued, but the heart of the role is creating meaningful guest experiences that build brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests with a warm, professional presence and ensure a memorable “VIP” experience.
- Host guided tastings, tours, and club member experiences (on-site and occasional off-site).
- Support daily tasting room operations, including opening/closing procedures and appointment coordination.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment.
- Assist with tasting room sales, wine club conversions, and guest data capture.
- Support hospitality-related tasks such as guest communication, club outreach, and event assistance.
- Represent Keller Estate with gracious, down-to-earth service.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of hospitality or tasting room experience.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, confident guest-facing style.
- Comfort with sales, upselling, and wine club conversions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic wine knowledge; deeper knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with POS/reservation systems (WineDirect, Tock, or similar).
- Ability to work weekends, some holidays, and occasional evenings.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Required Certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS/TIPS)
- CA Food Handler
