Are you passionate about wine, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences? We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-focused Wine Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room operations and provide memorable experiences for every guest.

Position Summary

The Wine Tasting Room Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tasting room, leading staff, driving wine sales, maintaining exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming, polished environment that reflects our winery's values and brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily tasting room operations.
• Deliver exceptional hospitality and create memorable guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise tasting room staff.
• Meet and exceed wine club memberships and sales goals.
• Maintain inventory, merchandise displays, and cleanliness of the tasting room.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate and assist with winery events, private tastings, and special promotions.
• Ensure compliance with all California ABC regulations and responsible alcohol service.
• Prepare daily reports, deposits, and sales reconciliation.
• Collaborate with winery ownership and team members to improve operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing or supervising in a wine tasting room, winery, restaurant, hospitality, or related customer service environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sales-driven with the ability to meet performance goals.
• Knowledge of wine, wine service, and food pairings preferred.
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain any required certifications.

Physical Requirements
