SEEKING
We are seeking a highly motivated Merchandiser to help grow and support our business. Someone with extensive merchandising experience and ability to travel to our different locations which includes Paso Robles (West and East Side, Temecula, CA, Fredericksburg, TX).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•  Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage.
•  Working with suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices and order large volumes.
•  Collaborate with executives, marketers, and salespeople to set prices that are good for the market and profit.
•  Getting to know the customer base and understanding their motivation and sales drivers.
•  Reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand.
•  Briefing staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized.
•  Researching and monitoring industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns.
•  Making predictions based on sales data, customer feedback and market trends.
•  Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures.
•  Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing, and other progress.
•  Develop and maintain annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise plans for multiple product categories.
•  Manage the financial success of the business by meeting sales goals and maintaining healthy inventory levels.
•  Recap and analyze actual sales results vs plan and forecast in-season sales and inventory on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
•  Quantify in-season risks and opportunities and make recommendations to merchant team and management to drive results.
•  Communicate monthly Open-to-Buy forecasts & supporting action plans to management and cross functional teams.
•  Develop effective promotional strategies to optimize inventory productivity and maintain healthy turns.
•  Create category level quarterly hindsight reports to drive strategic assortment decisions for future investments.
•  Provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders for future season planning.
•  Prepare innovative ad-hoc financial analysis for management as needed.
•  Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional team members.

What you will do:
•  Work cross-functionally with the brand marketing, design, merchandising and TR teams to build strategy related to how merchandise is visually displayed across the retail fleet, with an emphasis on consistency of brand voice and presentation, embracing creativity and driving commercial success across all locations.
•  Work/Hire graphic designers for new apparel.
•  Oversee retail fixture productivity, including visual merchandising and growth strategy. Advise on improvements or additions to store fixtures relative to store performance and anticipated category expansion.
•  Partner with brand creative team to advise on the conception and execution of merchandising, installations, and experiences inclusive of graphics and video and collaborate with marketing team on how best to communicate collection rollout plans to all stakeholders.
•  Manage, maintain, and adhere to all merchandising, display, installation, production, and design budgets.
•  Oversee the coaching and development of in-store management and visual merchandising teams to connect across merchandising, retail, and visual merchandising to strategize on product assortment and placement.

What you can bring:
•  Established experience driving visual merchandising and operations strategy at a multi-unit level in similar retail environment.
•  Comprehensive ability to train and coach others in a one to one or team forum on visual merchandising skills and processes to support excellent execution.
•  Demonstrates coaching, influencing and relationship building skills with internal and external partners.
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
•  Ability to prioritize work effectively and handle multiple competing demands, with a willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet the needs of the business.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Effective communicator and partner with all levels of both corporate and field colleagues and partners to ensure issues are identified and corrected in good time.
•  Extremely detail oriented, able to identify trends and pivot quickly while still meeting deadlines.
•  A proactive team member with strong time management skills and ability to own organizational projects from start to finish.
•  Proficient Excel skills as well as strong written and verbal communication.
•  Enjoys travelling to store locations as a component of your role.

Compensation & Benefits
Full-Time (5 days per week)
Pay: Annual salary range is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
