Join us in the development and release of a unique technology platform designed to optimize both the consumer and venue experience in California's wine industry. Our team has been in stealth mode for nearly two years developing a native "cloud to mobile" solution pairing a consumer mobile application with a wine venue visitor management platform. We will launch both solutions in California in 2019, and are seeking to add resources to our team in areas of product, operations, and development. The process of searching for, booking, coordinating and experiencing wine related travel is largely manual today; VWC application solutions are designed to evolve these activities into something more modern, while retaining today's charm and personal experience.

Technical Product Manager 

This position is an experienced technical product manager who can empower our team with strong analytical thinking and supernatural product sense to discover growth opportunities, contribute to product strategy and bring the product vision to life.

Responsibilities

·        Contribute to the product strategy, objectives and key results

·        Translate business and operational requirements from the field, our product evangelists, and industry partners to process specifications

·        Prioritize ideas and projects based on qualitative and quantitative product data, market and competitive research

·        Design lean experiments in the key product areas to quickly gather product and user insight

·        Define and track metrics to measure product health and success

·        Manage feature backlog, sprints, release cycles, and product positioning across all our technology assets

·        Drive product delivery with an amazing development and design teams

·        Embody continual process improvement (CPI), and bob, weave, flex, and stretch to evolve our products and brand.

·        Communicate continuously with users, customers, and internal stakeholders

·        Motivate and inspire people around you.

 

Requirements

·        5+ years of product management experience preferably with popular consumer products

·        A proven track record of creating successful solutions to hard problems

·        Strong analytical mindset supported by experience of making data-informed product decisions and measuring success

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills. You can not only understand the data and make conclusions but also tell an inspiring story

·        Passionate about the wine industry and the opportunity to enhance experiences for consumer and venue
