An established vineyard and winery located in Oak Knoll north of Napa that produces about 20,000 cases annually is looking for a full-time bookkeeper who will also assist Marketing and Sales with order logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily office operations
- Use Quickbooks to manage invoicing, deposits, post Tasting Room & distributor sales, post expenses and reconcile bank accounts
- Calculate and process payroll
- File and process California sales tax reports
- Work with outside CPA for year-end tax preparation
- Manage distributor order paperwork including creating and sending invoices, entering orders into internal systems and external warehouse systems and following - up with distributors for payment
- Occasional help with Wine Club shipments
Requirements
- Some prior accounting experience
- Some proficiency with Quickbooks, Excel and Word
- Strong organizing and problem-solving skills
- Wine industry experience/knowledge preferred

Location
This position works from our offices in Oak Knoll, about 10 minutes from downtown Napa and is typically 9am to 6pm. An ability and willingness to work both alone and with others doing different jobs as needed is a plus, we are a small winery and everyone does multiple jobs.
