Job Summary

The Host/Greeter is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all tasting room guests while creating a memorable experience by greeting, escorting/directing guests, providing accurate information, and responding to inquiries, requests, and concerns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Greet arriving guests and determine reservation or place guests on waiting list, when applicable.
• Escort guests to their assigned table or direct them to designated waiting areas.
• Present guests with menus or direct to QR code on table, communicate server name, and relay any relevant information.
• Engage with guests to ensure they are satisfied with wine and overall service.
• Assist team members other areas of the tasting room as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of Tasting Room layout- table and seating arrangements

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education include:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High volume, fast-paced environment experience preferred. Hospitality, Sales and/or customer service experienced is preferred.
• High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
• Food Handlers card is required.
• Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a plus.
• Proficient in English- verbal and written.
• Valid CA Driver's License.
• Must have flexible work availability.

Physical Requirements include:

• The employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. 

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 +tips
