Sales Representative Wine and Spirits Distributor -Greater Los Angeles Area (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Are you a self-starter that enjoys being out of the office and interacting with customers every day? 

Functions:

 

·         Responsible for selling the Fat & Happy Beverage portfolio in all accounts.

·         Open and maintain new accounts.

·         Routinely visit accounts for re-order.

·         Build productive relationships with customers.

·         On some cases will need to deliver to customers.

·         Achieve and exceed sales goals.

·         Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

·         Must have 3 – 5 years alcohol beverage experience.

·         Must work independently.

·         Have high level of industry knowledge.

·         Highly motivated personality.

·         Excellent oral, written and sales presentation skills.

·         Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to utilize company-provided communication systems and devices.

·         Must possess valid unrestricted California Driver’s License.

·         Reliable transportation and good driving record is required.

Ability to adapt and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types.  Goal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.  Stay apprised of federal, state and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility.

 Physical Demands:

·         Must be able to walk, bend, reach, and lift 30 pounds or more.

·         Building displays in store and cutting cases of product that have been sold by Sales Representative to the store

·         Re-stocking existing displays and/or shelves with new product sold by Sales Representative.

Compensation:

· Annual base salary plus commission.
