Job Responsibilities Include:
• General harvest cellar duties including: punch downs, barrel work (steaming/pressure washing), operating the pump to barrel down pressed wines, pressure washing fermentation bins, cleaning harvest equipment (press, crusher, hopper), sanitizing pump and hose lines, maintaining a clean work environment (ie hosing down crush pad and winery floors).
• Packing and shipping of retail wine orders
• Help maintain inventory in tasting room(s)
Ideal Candidate would have:
• Diploma or degree in wine related field.
• Previous cellar and harvest experience.
• Enology experience
• Forklift experience.
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Be an organized self starter
• Tasting Room experience
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
• Reliabe to arrive on time for a 5 - 6 am start.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
This is a full time, hourly harvest position. Wage dependant on experience.
