ABOUT ARMIDA
Armida Winery is located on the southern border of Dry Creek Valley, off of Westside Road, and only 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg, Ca. We are a small team producing wines from amazing vineyards throughout Sonoma County (with a small amount of Monterey County fruit as well). Join us while we process 180 tons and have fun along the way.

SUMMARY
Harvest Interns will assist the production team with all day-to-day harvest operations including; processing grapes, punch down/pump overs, drain and digs, barrel work, general cleaning and sanitizing, and other winery related tasks. Previous cellar experience a plus, but not a deal breaker as we are happy to train the right candidate. Lots of opportunity to learn and gain experience in nearly every facet of winery operations. This is a temporary position that starts in August and runs through November with some flexibility in start and finish dates.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Set up equipment to receive and process grapes
- Assist in pressing both red and whites – includes press loading, unloading, press cleaning
- Punch downs and pump overs, drains, and dig outs
- Barrel work that includes prepping, filling barrels, topping, and racking
- Clean and sanitize tanks, press, pumps, fittings, and miscellaneous equipment as directed
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years or older upon starting employment
- Cellar and forklift experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand for long lengths of time sometimes in challenging conditions
- Some overtime may be required
