Tasting room Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Small, family owned winery seeks part time tasting room associate to work Saturdays, and 1-2 days per week as needed. The ideal candidate will be a team player, friendly, outgoing, energetic, proactive, hospitality oriented multi-tasker with a passion for wine. Wine sales experience not necessary, as we are willing to train the right person. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to lift 45 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Compensation commensurate to experience.

Required duties:

  • One-on-one, personal VIP tours & tastings 
  • Informal tours & tastings
  • Educating guests about the Schweiger story and our farming and wine making practices
  • Computer knowledge required
  • Point of Sale register operation
  • Daily open and close procedures
