Orin Swift is hiring for a Seasonal Grower Relations Technician to collect contracted grower’s vineyard performance data ensuring that the company’s desired level of product quality and wine target style is being met. Responsible for supporting and assist Grower Rep in all harvest logistics.
What You Will Do:
- Monitors and collects data such as, pest checks, vine health, canopy conditions, petioles and soil conditions.
- Collaborates with Grower Rep to accomplish respective assignments.
- Participates in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ensures that day-to-day actions and decisions taken are consistent with all quality standards.
- Records and maintains phonological data for all contracted growers in respective area.
- Maintains Grower book to include contract information, grower profile, maps, and other pertinent information.
- Performs routine scouting for pests and diseases in contracted vineyards and produce a block by block vineyard status weekly report.
- Conducts fruit sugar sampling prior and during harvest, obtain lab reports and enter data in Grower system.
- Supports in coordinating harvest logistics including tarping, chemical additions and roadside logistics.
