Looking for a superstar who has a customer service focused philosophy to join our team at Huneeus! This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who finds joy in helping others, in addition to sharing a passion for fabulous wines in the Huneeus portfolio!
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while making outbound sales calls and assisting in inbound calls to/from Vineyard Circle members and non-member customers, including processing, reviewing researching and resolving customer issues, and maintaining customer database. An ideal candidate would be professional, self-motivated, organized and efficient and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, small team environment. Must be well versed with the wines and maintain wine knowledge in order to build rapport and relationship with customers and club members. This is a phone outreach position with a focus on wine sales.
Our DTC Direct Sales Associate will support the Huneeus Vintners (HV) rapidly growing multi-channel, multi-brand consumer direct business selling luxury wines.
The HV family of brands relevant to consumer direct include:
• Quintessa
• Illumination
• Faust
• Flowers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES.
To perform the job successfully our DTC Customer Relations and Outreach Associate must possess:
• Two years of successful experience in a similar position.
• Self-directed with strong sales skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer care, communicating with clarity and consistency, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
• Acquire and demonstrate wine knowledge and effectively present products to consumers
• Knowledgeable about the wine industry, production and biodynamic and organic farming.
• Proficient with PC software such as Word, Excel, or Access with the desire and ability to learn more sophisticated programs and systems. Comfortable using web based systems.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and juggle multiple customer needs, relationships and deadlines.
• Assist with customers and attend events.
• Flexibility in working weekends and Holidays is required as needed.
• Ability to work in downtown Napa office
