Riboli Family Wines & Spirits, the distribution arm of the San Antonio Winery, is currently seeking a full- time, established, territory sales representative in the South Bay. This position has established retail and restaurant accounts, and the representative is also being responsible for aggressively looking for new opportunities to expand market share.
Individuals must possess strong selling skills and excellent verbal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills are also necessary.
Successful candidates must have 2 plus years experience working in the wine industry as a sales representative for a wholesale distributor, and be goal orientated with track record of achieving sales and goals, and creating positive relationships.
The responsibilities include:
• Manage accounts in an assigned territory.
• Establish & maintain rapport with store/restaurant managers, wine department buyers/managers, and other pertinent personnel
• Cold calling in both retail and on premise accounts to establish relationships and grow business.
• Sell current programs for floor displays, build displays, and put up current P.O.S. & prices
• Maintain current accounts receivable.
• Reach or exceed all sales goals for the assigned territory.
• Work closely with a division manager to maintain a high standard of service for our customers.
Qualifications:
• Successful candidate must: be at least 21 years of age; possess a current driver’s license; maintain current auto insurance coverage.
• Working knowledge of wine from the world’s major viticulture regions
• Knowledge of chain accounts & restaurant buyers, buying and promotional practices and operational procedures
• Ability to lift 45 pounds on a regular basis.
• This position requires the availability to work flexible hours and weekends, when necessary, for tastings & special events
