Amapola Creek by Richard Arrowood is a very small family owned, ultra-premium winery, located in the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma Valley. We produce 3,000 cases annually of highly acclaimed wines. Access to the winery is exclusive and visits by appointment.

We are growing and looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This is a dynamic position and will involve working within many aspects of the consumer wine channel (hospitality, outreach, social media and wine club).

Responsibilities

•  Host private tastings by appointment for guests and wine club members

•  Effectively suggest and sell wine to guests and promote membership in our wine club as appropriate

•  Report to the DTC Manager and work collaboratively to develop, promote and maintain guest outreach programs to increase visitor traffic

•  Assist the DTC Manager as our in-house social media specialist helping create a personalized and true social media strategy and content, maintain postings and follow up

•  Assist DTC Manager with various activities related to wine club shipment processing and post-shipment customer service and processes

•  Present a professional appearance

 

Prerequisites

•  College credential preferred

•  Prior sales & customer service experience

•  Must be able to work on weekends

•   Proficient in Word, Outlook and POS systems (AMS a plus)

•  Working knowledge of social media best practices 2019

•   Moderate physical work (lift 40 pounds)

•   21 or older

•   Have a valid driver's license   

We offer competitive compensation DOE and benefits. This is a full time, hourly position. Thursday-Monday, 9-5pm.
