Donum Estate is a premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer located in the Carneros AVA of Sonoma County focusing on small-lot site driven wines that encapsulates complexity and excellence. Donum Estate is a very unique and special project that has been growing extremely high quality grapes and crafting world class wines since it was founded.
We are looking for people who have harvest experience, who are passionate about wine, have a positive attitude, are detail oriented, enjoy tasting wine, and possess a strong work ethic. Interns will assist in all facets of harvest work including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, sorting fruit, punchdowns and pump-overs, making additions and managing fermentations according to the winemaker’s instructions, barrel work, and other winery-related tasks.
This position will start early August and will run through early November (depending on the season). Candidates must be willing to work with flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
This will be the inaugural vintage in our brand new state of the art winery.
Interns must be able to push or pull 100 pounds and lift 50 pounds.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Hourly pay is determined based on experience.
A J-1 visa must be secured by individuals without U.S. citizenship.
