California Wineries & Vineyards is seeking a Wine Club Manager to help establish our wine club plus e-commerce programs that will drive sales and achieve club goals through membership sales campaigns, club events and interaction with our customers. The ideal candidate will develop the overall club and e-commerce strategy and follow-through on executing new programs taking the club to the next level! Our estate vineyard, Tobias Glen, is a Certified Sustainable Vineyard located in Russian River AVA, produces award winning Pinot Noir and Rosé of Pinot Noir.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsibilities include professional communication with wine club members via telephone, email, and in-person
- Responsible for all email communications including the development and deployment of all e-commerce/wine release emails consisting of copy writing, promotion and segmentation to support storytelling, clubs, events, and other business needs
- Utilize knowledge of wine products, alcohol laws and compliance, membership marketing, wine shipping practices, and multiple operating systems to maximize wine club growth and maintain existing memberships.
- Develop new and compelling marketing ideas to promote club member acquisition and retention
- Manage all club processes including communications, billing, shipping, inventory management, compliance, and staff training
- Maintain inventory across all locations including managing club shipments, and any allocated products
- Other administrative tasks including reporting and budget forecasting will be required along with other assigned duties
- Build on club focused programs by collaborating with VP, Sales & Marketing, to create compelling, valuable content across all social media channels
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day email, social media and performance marketing programs to drive increased awareness, traffic and conversion both online and to the winery property
- Build and execute on club digital marketing campaigns with Sales and Marketing to create content across multiple digital channels and platforms, curate and manage social media calendars
- Leads email acquisition strategy, tracking and coordinates with cross- functional partners to increase customer database
- The ideal candidate must be meticulous and well-organized and can overcome obstacles, maintains great attention to detail, efficiently use time, be goal-oriented, enthusiastic, charismatic, passionate about wine and food, and proactively provide solutions and ideas to enhance current DTC processes
- Exceptional phone etiquette, people skills and the ability to work as a team player with multiple departments (guest relations, winemaking, production, and management), multi-task and interact as a brand ambassador at public events are a must
- This is a full-time, salaried position that requires non-traditional business hours. The individual chosen for this role will work a set schedule with required shifts on weekends, evenings and some holidays
- Winery experience preferred; wine club experience preferred
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years in DTC sales, wine club management and/or a relevant marketing role a plus
- Strong and consistent track record of successful club growth and retention
- Strong overall computer skills, including proficiency with WineDirect or other winery POS systems. Mail Chimp, Excel, and Microsoft Office are a must. Adobe Design Suite - a bonus.
