At Russian River Vineyards (RRV), our wine comes first.  Located in the heart of the renowned Russian River wine-making region of Sonoma County, RRV has been producing outstanding wines since its first planting in 1963. 

 

Winemaker Giovanni Balistreri, a 4th generation Sonoma County farmer, lovingly crafts award-winning wines year after year.  We are a small, welcoming winery with no pretensions.  We nurture a friendly, casual, and easy-going atmosphere across our operations…but we are serious about the quality of our wines and about taking care of our customers.

 

Qualifications

·      Tasting Room Experience (preferred)

·      Retail Sales (preferred)

·      Restaurant Experience (preferred)

 

Responsibilities

·       Perform daily tasting room and outdoor tasting duties: conduct tastings and tours, restock wine, wipe down tables, serve food, bus and wash glasses, perform inventory, etc.

·       Understand and exceed sales monthly goals

·      Assist with hospitality special events, as needed

·      Represent brand at outside functions, as needed

·      Create a warm and memorable experience for the guests, building brand loyalty

·      Describe wine club options

·      Promote and procure tastings, glass pours and bottle-sales

·      Sell wine club memberships

 

Requirements:

·      Professional appearance and demeanor

·      Must be at least 21-years-old

·      Must be able to work weeknight events and weekends

·      Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties

·      Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

·      Proficient on the computer (familiarity with POS systems desired)

·      Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

·      Professional, personable, welcoming, with excellent hospitality and customer service focus

·      Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

 

Salary:
From $17 plus tips and Wine Club sales commissions
