WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Sextant Wines / Paris Valley Road is a family owned/operated winery based in Paso Robles, CA and is known for their award-winning Zinfandel’s and very special Bordeaux and Rhone blends. The winery is growing and needs energetic and efficient Warehouse personnel with the right attitude to join their Paso Robles team. The Warehouse Associate position will report to the Logistics Coordinator and is primarily responsible for order fulfillment and inventory control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Accurately picking wine to prep for outgoing shipments
•  Correctly stacking, wrapping and prepping wine for travel
•  Receive and process incoming goods
•  Initiate quality inventory control
•  Have attention to detail when completing paperwork
•  Ability to optimize space utilization
•  Report any inventory discrepancies
•  Keep a clean and safe work environment
•  Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
•  Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements:
•  Forklift certified
•  Familiar with and obtains knowledge of warehouse practices and methods
•  Great organizational and time management skills
•  Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
•  Capability to multitask and prioritize
•  High school diploma

•  Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics and other related fields
•  Thrive in a fast-paced environment
•  Possesses strong organizational skills
•  Honesty and reliability

Compensation depends on experience and applicants must be able to provide their own transportation to and from work.
