Position Title: Vineyard Technician 
Reports to: Vineyard Manager
Status/Classification: FT, Non-Exempt

Position Summary

Vineyard Technician will take direction from the Vineyard Manager and management team to care for estate and satellite vineyards located in the Paso Robles area.  The position will be very diverse and require adaptability to accomplish the various goals and tasks.

Position Responsibilities

• Viticulture work with labor crews to accomplish cultural practices. 
• General maintenance of equipment, facilities, machines and implements.
• Collection and record keeping of vineyard data pertaining to pest issues and harvest maturity.
• Assistance with work related projects and errands.
• Coordination and administration of vineyard safety protocols and training.
• Assistance in all aspects of harvesting.

Position Requirements

• 2-4 years vineyard or agricultural experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Teamwork and ownership mentality.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to adapt to fast paced and rapidly evolving work environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in all weather conditions, and perform in anatomical positions.
• Ability to speak Spanish is highly recommended.
