Historic Halter Ranch is a vineyard and winery located in the heart of the Paso Robles' Westside Adelaida District. Tradition and innovation mix at Halter Ranch to produce Bordeaux and Rhône-style wines of the highest quality. Halter Ranch has a growing events and wedding schedule and is looking for an organized, detail oriented, customer service professional to join our team.

Position Description:

• The Events Assistant Manager will be the first point of contact with potential corporate, onsite and offsite events, wedding and outside event customers. In addition, the position will work closely with our wine club and events manager, marketing coordinator, tasting room managers and facilities manager. Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, possess outstanding computer skills and have the ability to engage and provide the ultimate in customer service. A gracious and engaging personality and a passion for providing authentic, personalized experiences is required. This person must also enjoy working in an open office environment and be open to multiple tasks within the administration office including answering phones, data entry and other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• Four-year related degree preferred
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in event and wedding management
• A genuine interest in meeting and assisting new people
• An enthusiastic and supportive work ethic
• Exceptional project management skills
• The ability to work independently and in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM Software
• Ability to assist with wine club orders and assist with member updates
• Must be self-motivated, reliable, punctual and team oriented
• Have a highly developed attention to detail and organization skills
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. 
• Must be available to work weekends and evenings

General

• The Events Assistant Manager will report directly to the Wine Club & Events Manager. This is a full-time position and the right candidate must be willing to work weekends and extended hours. Pay dependent on qualifications and experience.
