Eleven Eleven Winery is currently looking for additional seasonal harvest cellar employees. The ideal candidate would have some previous harvest experience domestically or abroad and/or passion to learn about wine. Familiarity with aspects of winemaking is desired. The ability to work long hours, maintain a level head, positive attitude, and attention to detail are a must. This is a dynamic work environment whereby a flexible, can do attitude is expected. Our cellar produces our Eleven Eleven wine, as well as custom crushing for a number of clients. This environment provides exposure to a variety of winemaking styles and access to some of Napa Valley's finest winemakers.
Job Description:
-Cleaning/Sanitation
-Grape Processing
-Press work
-Barrel Work such as filling, topping and stirring
-Rackings
-Additions to juice, must and wine
-Performing punchdowns and pumpovers
-Fermentation Monitoring
-Pomace removal
-Special projects
Qualifications:
-Willing to work long hours and 7 days a week
-Ability to stand up for long periods of time
-Ability to listen and take direction
-Desire to learn
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Ability to lift 50 pounds as well as bend and squat regularly throughout your shift
-Reliable transportation and clean DMV
-Strong Communicator
The position would begin September 25th and run through November 22nd.
