POSITION SUMMARY 
This position is responsible for the support of the marketing department. This is a collaborative cross-functional position managing projects through sales, winemaking, compliance, outside vendors, and customers in the development of marketing materials and business programs to achieve department goals. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following reflects our definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

General Marketing Department Support 50%
-Manage development and creation of wine fact sheets, release letters, sell sheets, to coordinate with wine vintage releases. Ensure all wine notes are written and formatted before wine release.
-Own key brand projects and work with brand managers on development and deliverables (as assigned). Examples include trade programs, local advertising plans, new product launches, etc.
-Assist in developing content and lead copywriting for various trade and press letters.
-Develop official format and update brand standard guidelines.
-Develop and design marketing materials as needed. Manage printing process for various materials.
-Assist in development and procurement of trade promo items.

Trade Support 25% 
-Develop content and manage process for the quarterly Winery Report newsletter for trade audience.
-Develop tools for sales and trade communication, such as sell sheets, shelf talkers, neckers, etc., as needed. 

PR Support 25%
-Manage PR and score database, scan and organize press coverage, communicate press to organization, social media team and sales team. Release monthly summary of results.
-Manage and coordinate press mailings with PR firm/brand managers.
-Manage and maintain database of wine press sends (publication, vintage, wine).
-Manage and maintain database of wine competition sends. Assess opportunities and provide recommendations on participation.

QUALIFICATIONS
-BA/BS degree required, Marketing or Business discipline emphasis preferred.
-Wine experience and/or knowledge preferred.
-Minimum of 3-5 years of previous work experience. 
-Exceptional written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
-Effective project management skills; ability to plan and organize with the ability to follow up and follow through on a variety of projects; ability to execute accurately, on-time and within budget.
-Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic organization; ability to maintain a positive work environment by communicating in a professional manner with media, customers and colleagues.
-Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite and digital mediums. 
-Ability to travel (includes overnight stays).
-Able to lift and carry 40-50 lbs for short periods.
