Job Description 

Manager - New Wine Products positions offered by E. & J. Gallo Winery (Modesto, CA). Conceptualizes and executes research and development in grape and wine resulting in the development and commercialization of new wine products. Applies technical knowledge and diverse capability in the full-cycle development and production of high quality new wine products.  

Minimum Requirements

• Requires a master's or foreign equivalent degree in wine business, wine science, enology or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of wine making experience.
• Also requires 3 years of experience making wine in multiple global wine growing regions. In lieu of a master’s degree, employer will accept a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in aforementioned fields and 5 years of experience as stated.
• Also requires 2 years of experience: representing wines and brands to consumers; performing wine making research; operating and applying winery equipment associated with the development of new wine products, including filtration, evaporation, flash détente and wine presses; and applying analytical equipment associated with the development of new wines products, including HPLC, GC and GCMS.
