Grapewagon Custom Crush is a boutique custom crush facility located just a couple miles from downtown Healdsburg. We have 12 clients who crush between four and 30 tons each and the varieties of fruit we work with run the gamut from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to Cabernet and Merlot, Old-Vine Zinfandel, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Sangiovese, Riesling, and Muscat, among others. We crush approximately 160 tons and because of the wide range of varieties with which we work, the picking dates can range from mid August to the end of October.

- Hard-working and LOVE to clean
- Keen attention to detail
- Prefer at least one prior harvest
- Affinity for good food, wine, and beer a plus
Each year we hire three interns. Two interns are dedicated to cellar work. These duties include cap management, fruit processing, and draining and pressing, among others. The third intern has some lab responsibilities which include daily Brix and Temp readings on all ferments and the occasional sulfur check on over-vintaged wine but they will have significant time in the cellar, as well. The approximate dates of work are the beginning of August into November with the potential to work into December. We do not have housing on-site but have a few local contacts and can assist with the housing search if necessary.
