Who are we?
Little Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery located in Glen Ellen off of Highway 12. We specialize primarily in red varietals made from our estate vineyards. Our tasting room is currently open Thursday- Monday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm by reservation.

What are we looking for?
Someone who is customer focused, sales oriented, self-motivated, and ready to have fun working for a “Little” family-owned winery. This position is responsible for promoting and selling Little Vineyards wines and wine club memberships.

Responsibilities
Greet and check in all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Always maintain a professional and hospitable demeanor.
Pour and explain all wines for tastings. Share facts and stories about the winery in an engaging manner.
Consistently sell wine and wine club memberships to new and existing customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with local guests, club members, and repeat customers.
Utilize POS on a daily basis to conduct wine and merchandise sales.
Assist with merchandise display, restock wine displays, and other tasting room reorganization.
Provide local recommendations for other wineries and restaurants to guests.
Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of winery history and its wine.
Stay up to date with what is happening in the vineyards and winemaking process.
Participate in occasional team meetings/tastings outside of winery hours.
Assist with special winery events as needed.
Assist with other tasks and procedures as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
Enjoys working with the public and has the ability to enthusiastically share wine knowledge, encourage sales, and obtain wine club memberships.
Previous tasting room experience not required, but is a plus.
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
General knowledge of wines, wine production, and the wine industry preferred.
Displays excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be at least 21 years old and available to work weekends.
Thrives in a small team environment. Comfortable working alone at times in the tasting room.
Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and take initiative.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay productive during slower periods.
POS (WineDirect) savvy. Basic knowledge of Excel preferred. Good with computers.
Interested in and eager to gain new wine and vineyard knowledge.
Enjoys live music!

We specialize in red varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah.
We are currently celebrating 20 years in business! Little Vineyards was established in 2002.
We have a limited production, at no more than 2,500 cases per year.
Our wines are primarily sold direct-to-consumer.
Our property is 23 acres, with 18 acres dedicated to our vineyards.
We are a small, hard-working team, that focuses on telling our Little story and creating lasting relationships with our customers.
Our wines have won over 40 gold medals.
We have a music recording studio on property!
