Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

75% Sales/Customer Service:

  • Perform outbound corporate sales operations selling wine and merchandise to potential corporate clients.
  • Communicate and promote our corporate programs, including wine sales, wine family benefits, and on property events to potential corporate clients and cross sell/up sell additional services and products.
  • Update internal shared customer databases with new information gathered during calls.
  • Ensure that all company established procedures and policies are followed. Work with Manager to suggest new policies as needed.
  • Respond accurately to customer inquiries via telephone and email within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Suggest and maintain customer service best practices to Manager, based on customer interaction experience.
  • Maintain a comfortable, friendly, and informative customer service environment via face-to-face, phone, and email communication, including other departments.
  • Be able to respond to other departmental or company needs or changes as necessary.

10% Reporting:

  • Create reports as needed to determine appropriate calling lists.
  • Maintain corporate sales daily, weekly & monthly report.

10% Marketing/Promotions:

  • Work with Manager to develop corporate promotions and outreach programs.
  • Develop and execute outside corporate sales promotions; present to Manager for approval
  • Generate leads and manage relationship(s) with outside sales partners and vendors.

5% eCommerce Daily Tasks:

  • Work with Manager to be competent in daily processes and tasks in Manager’s absence.
  • Process orders in B-Loyal for the Shipping Department.
  • Answering emails and voicemails as necessary- customer service based duties.

 

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and;
  • 12 month’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Computer proficiency in Lotus Suite, MS Office, CRM Software, Internet.
  • Computer applications preferably with shipping and inventory software.
  • Previous phone sales experience.
  • Previous retail/e-commerce experience.
  • Some marketing related experience.
  • Experience in the wine industry.
