Tasting Room Lead (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Are you a motivated and welcoming person? Do you like funky, fun, small wineries?

Fantastic! We’re looking to hire a salesperson for our little tasting room here in Trenton (aka Forestville). We’re a small winery - two owners/winemakers, and two full time staff. We’re 50 years in to this crazy business at Joseph Swan Vineyards and are still learning and laughing our way through it. Duties will include helping set up our tasting room (situated in our barrel room/entire winery), pouring wine for our longtime fans and newcomers alike, educating guests on our rich and quirky history, & some wine club management. If you are motivated to work closely with our small team and help our business grow, we’d love to chat with you!

Qualifications:

•  Proficient computer skills – any wine club management is a plus, but not necessary, we can teach you. 
•  Excel, Word, etc. are a must
•  1 year experience in the wine industry
•  Positive attitude and good self-motivation
•  Must know one good joke
