We are also a wholesaler with a national distribution network, our selections appearing in many of the country’s top restaurants and wine bars. We too are a retail store with a personable and professional sales staff, available six days a week to assist private customers across the country.

North Berkeley Imports is looking for a Logistics Manager to join our team. We are searching for an experienced Logistics Manager to support our Retail, Wholesale Executive departments. The ideal applicant will be a master organizer with experience in winery office administration. Candidates with optimism, flexibility, and a work-hard, play-hard sensibility will thrive with us.

Responsibilities include the following:
- Organize, label, pack, and monitor shipments for consumer orders 
- Liason with internal staff and Warehouse to ensure proper transfer of goods in a timely manner
- Assist in coordinating bottled goods transfers between the winery, main warehouse, and distribution points
- Receive wine and stock to maintain an organized and efficient system of inventory
- Liason with Fulfillment company on any orders that use specific shipping channels, monitoring billing, credits, refunds, etc
- Organize consumer will-call orders and related inventory management
- Manage weather holds and releases for order fulfillment
- Manage and restock shipping materials and sales collateral (packing materials, brochures, tasting sheets, etc)
- Conduct bi-annual inventory; work with sales and admin team to count existing inventory and reconcile any missing inventory
- Assist with customer communications and relationship management
- Communicate with our IT consulting company when issues arise and manage the process
- Work with Marketing to maintain back-end of online sales platform
- Monitor all monthly Wine Club packages to ensure each has the proper informational inserts and is shipped in a timely manner
- Research and address shipping issues when needed
- Assist with overall building maintenance (sweep store, restock shelves, water plants, trash, etc)
- Deliver inventory for Wholesale Tastings and Events when needed

Ideal Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics management, administrative and logistics support required; winery or Retail experience highly desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs with a command of Excel required; experience with Adobe and accounting software a plus
- Proven ability to develop timelines, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
- Consistent productivity in a dynamic, energetic, and busy office setting
- Must have valid CA driver's license 
- Must be willing and able to pack boxes, climb racks to pull wines for shipping, etc

Salary and Schedule:
This is a full-time salaried position with duties performed Monday - Friday. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package with health insurance and 401K offered.
