Alluvial Wines, Inc. is a dynamic new company in the Northern California wine brokerage community. We focus on smaller, independent wineries that approach winemaking from a minimal-interventionist philosophy. We, and our producers, believe in letting the grapes and the vineyard speak for themselves, with little to no manipulation. Our producers utilize natural, indigenous fermentations where practical, and practice sustainable agriculture at a minimum, with organics and biodynamics being added bonuses when available. We believe in honesty and transparency, in our wines, the producers we work with, and in how we conduct all aspects of our business.
Currently, we have ten producers in our book, representing fifteen different brands, with four more producers to be added in the next month. Our wineries include Tallulah, Le P’tit Paysan, La Marea, Villa Creek, Vina Robles, Cornerstone, Kinero, and Demuth Kemos. We also share a strategic partnership with Tamalpais Wine Agency to sell a portfolio of small, direct import wines from Italy, France, Spain, Slovenia, and Croatia.
As our company is growing rapidly, we are looking for qualified, experienced sales representatives. Our territory covers all of California from Fresno north. Our most urgent needs for added sales representatives are in San Jose, the Peninsula, Santa Cruz/Monterey, the East Bay, and Sacramento. We are looking to add up to three people by July 1, 2013. Ideally, our candidates will already be involved in other independent contractor/broker situations, and have an active list of customer relationships. All of our sales reps operate as independent contractors.
