We're looking for a dynamic person to take the reigns on an independent project selling some up and coming New Zealand brands. We're currently working with independent sales associates in NJ, NY and NoCA and are looking to expand into Southern California.
This would be a job that would be commission only as you develop your contacts in the industry. We're looking for someone who can quickly grow a sales base throughout Massachusetts. So having a strong group of contacts in restaurants or retail would be a great advantage.
We're building on the consumer's demand for new and interesting brands and styles of wine. We're also taking advantage of a quickly changing industry where for so long only large distributors existed. We have a back bone of logistics, compliance, billing, and warehousing through an established importer and distributor. We just need that dynamic person to build the sales.
Strong organizational and personal skills are required. Experience in sales and wine are helpful but not absolute. Passion for wine is a must. Marketing ideas and budget will be collaborative.
Ideally we're looking for someone with a strong contact base and great personality. Someone looking to transition out of a current job, i.e. hospitality or restaurant business, while this project develops would be a great fit. Or a wine sales professional looking to take on a new challenge and be a part of an exciting project.
Commission to start, with the potential for salary + commission depending on growth. There is also potential for aquiring sweat equity in the company.
