We are searching for a select individual who possesses the ability to provide authentic and anticipatory service in the capacity of Wine Club Director.  This position will assure standards of service and core values are met both in our Tasting Room and in our Membership event areas while inspiring and leading a team to accomplish Sales and Membership goals.

 

Position Summary

Responsible for the leadership, management, and execution of the Wine Club operations and fulfillment, including strategizing for increasing Wine Club Memberships and Wine Club sales,  hosting  Wine Club Member’s Only events, on and off-site VIP tastings,  and  provide on-going training to Tasting Room employees on optimal membership sales techniques.

  • Develops, implements and manages successful sales strategies in the pursuit of exceeding Wine Club sales goals while ensuring the highest degree of customer service.

  • Achieves monthly Wine club sales and Membership goals.

  • Develops and manages the budget and sales reporting for the Wine club.

  • Maintains entire Wine Club and Direct Sale mailing/email database

  • Manages the execution of bi-monthly, quarterly and special Wine Club shipments.

  • Develops various marketing materials, including shipment inserts, email blasts, Wine Club correspondence, Wine Club forms, event listings, and Wine Club newsletter.

  • Answers telephone and email questions regarding Membership, Direct Sales and Ecommerce.

  • Coordinate release dates on any other current wine or market place information including website.

  • Effectively sells wine and Wine Club Memberships at consumer events and in the Tasting Room.

  • Performs various Tasting Room duties including providing and maintain a training program for Tasting Room employees on optimal membership sales techniques.

  • Represents brands at community functions and events.

  • Conducts market research and analysis on wine club trends.

  • Responsible for increasing distribution of wine to other states.

  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of guest service to achieve overall Member satisfaction

  • Communicates and advises team of updates to Membership procedures and changes  through the issuance of memorandums and other communication tools

  • Attends meeting as necessary and updates team on Membership progress

  • Incorporates safe work practices in all job duties

  • Maintains department cleanliness and overall organization of work area

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years related experience or equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous Wine Club and management experience strongly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated sales ability.

  • Intermediate level computer software skills including MS Outlook, Word and Excel. 

  • Knowledge of Wine Direct software strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

  • Ability to work and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to read and speak English.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
