The Western Square Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining the current Customer base as well as expanding sales within their designated territory. Travel required within Oregon, Washington, and Canada (BC). This position requires calling on and servicing current and prospective Customers throughout the assigned territories. The ideal candidate will reside within the Pacific Northwest.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
•Resolves customer requests and complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
•Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
•Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; attending industry functions
•Proven ability to sell and "close the deal"
•Must have the ability to meet sales goals
•Ability to follow sale through to close, ensure product is delivered, and payment is received
•Ability to travel to and attend trade shows
•Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills
•Must present a positive company image at all times
•Any other duties assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
College education preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is required. Sales experience within the craft beer a/o wine industry preferred. Employment is contingent upon a good driving record allowing our insurance company to insure you as a driver of our company vehicle.
Competitive base salary plus monthly commission, company vehicle, gas, and benefits package
