WineTalent is working with our client, Long Meadow Ranch, to find a Senior Marketing Manager.
Long Meadow Ranch is a family-owned and operated producer and purveyor of world-class wine and food that is economically successful and socially responsible using diversified, sustainable, and organic farming methods. We produce award-winning wines, handcrafted extra virgin olive oils, grass-fed beef, eggs, and heirloom fruits and vegetables. Long Meadow Ranch’s celebrated American farmhouse cuisine is rooted in the Hall family tradition of showcasing ingredients fresh from our farm, ranch, and vineyards.
We have a unique opportunity for a sharp, savvy marketing professional to contribute to a fast-paced, growing family company to lead the management of new marketing projects from inception to launch. The marketing team is a dynamic small team that works collaboratively with all departments to bring together many different layers surrounding the common mission of Long Meadow Ranch. We are searching for an enthusiastic individual who has the passion and drive to create successful and professional marketing initiatives to increase awareness and sales for Long Meadow Ranch.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Collaborate and manage new product initiatives with key cross-functional teams
Manage new packaging design and printing, including updates to existing product designs
Develop and maintain external vendor relationships
Establish effective, cross-functional relationships with interdepartmental teams
Manage advertising initiatives, budget and design deliverables (print, electronic, social, etc)
Contribute to creation of and manage project budgets and timelines
Develop and manage content calendar
Collaborate with team to develop creative content, brand messaging and seasonal storytelling
Develop and partner with social media and dtc teams in the strategy, coordination, and execution of social and paid media
Collaborate, review, edit all copy including website, email campaigns, collateral, and menus, as well as maintenance and timely updates
Lead, manage and collaborate the development of marketing events and attend events to maximize ROI including but not limited to Guest Chef, Seasonal Events, Live Music series, Outside Lands
Attend consumer, trade and marketing events, both on and off-site
Communications
Contribute to and work closely with PR agency to execute the PR & communications plan
Collaborate and develop creative initiatives and story angles to create consistent coverage
Manage, support and host media visits, interviews, photography and events
Support customer service communications and reply messaging with appropriate cross departmental managers
Protect LMR brand reputation and ensure the public views the organization favorably
Manage product review submissions and research and maintain review calendar
Education, Experience and Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications or closely related discipline.
3+ years of consumer packaged goods marketing experience
2+ years of beverage alcohol marketing experience
Keen understanding of the hospitality industry
Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills with great attention to detail, even under tight deadlines and a fast paced environment
Ability to manage projects through from ideation to launch
Entrepreneurial, can-do mindset and takes initiative
Ability to communicate and work collaboratively to build relationships at all levels
Excellent personal, written and verbal communication skills
Extensive knowledge and proficiency of computer programs including Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Adobe. Experience with Illustrator and photoshop a plus
Must have a valid California Driver’s License and maintain a safe driving record
Ability to lift 40+ pounds
A pre-employment investigative consumer report is required
