Estate Director Newton Vineyard (Wine Jobs: Vineyards & Cellars )

Reporting directly to Estates & Wines President, the Newton Estate Director is responsible for delivering the best wines of Newton in each tier, true to their proper styles, at the expected cost and volumes, while promoting the brand across the markets. He will also manage the development project related to new vineyards and brands in the region.

Wine Promotion and Brand Communication 
• Responsible for the representation of the Newton Brand (conveys the wine and brand message) with respect to journalists, decision-makers, wine professionals, VIPs, etc at local, national and international level. 
• Represent Newton in all key Trade, Consumer, and Experts events across the world 

Management 
• Lead and manage the Estate’s teams to achieve the business’ ambitions 
• Responsible for the financial performance of the Estate: both revenue and costs elements. 

Winemaking 
Responsible for the implementation of the key winemaking practices 
• Decision on wine releases 
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of our main competitors, their style, quality, winemaking techniques & trends 
• Ensure winemaker to run an ambitious and pragmatic R&D program to enhance both winemaking quality and efficiency 

Viticulture 
Secure Grapes Supply Plan both in quality & quantity

Education & Professional experience:

• Business / Engineering School
• Pre-requisite: minimum 15 years of experiencein the wine world

Languages:

• English mandatory. Spanish and/or French is a plus
