General Manager – Sonoma Winery
We are seeking a General Manager who will be responsible for all daily operations of the winery. The General Manager will have full responsibility for the ongoing performance of the winery including strategy, long and short term objectives, determining wine styles, managing vineyards and bulk wine purchases.
The General Manager will be responsible for inventory control, well as meeting financial and strategic goals of the winery. The person we seek must have exceptional fiscal management skills, including financial analysis; budget creation, forecasting, managing labor cost and P&L oversight.
• A Bachelor’s Degree & 8 plus years’ experience in running a winery is preferred.
• Previous General Manager’s experience is a must.
• Detail oriented with exceptional communications.
• Computer savvy with exceptional financial organizational skills.
• Experience in grape sourcing, processing, tasting, blending & bulk wine purchases.
• Proficient in oral and written skills
• Must be a good people manager
