We have an incredible opportunity for a Tasting Room Manager for our highly acclaimed winery at our Sonoma Square tasting room. We are looking for a creative, experienced and professional leader for our team.
Qualifications:
2 years working in a tasting room in a supervisory position
Extensive wine knowledge
Sales acumen- ability to close the sale and engage our visitors through hospitality, education, and a unique experience
Daily Responsibilities:
Oversee, hire, and train tasting room team
Meet sales goals and communicate with management effectively
Daily sales reports and weekly inventory reconciliation.
Promote our tasting room culture and be a brand ambassador.
Ensure efficient operation of tasting room, be fiscally responsible, stay on top of area events, and schedule appropriately.
Maintain and grow outreach with the Sonoma community on an ongoing basis.
Manage shipments to fulfillment, or pack and ship when necessary.
Must be comfortable with communicating with guests on the phone including sales promotion opportunities.
Must be willing to represent the winery at local organization planning meetings.
Weekend availability a must.
Vin 65 experience preferred.
Microsoft office and excel proficiency.
Must be 21 years of age
Must be able to lift 45 lbs and move cases frequently
Must be able to stand, lift, and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
