LARSON FAMILY WINERY is a fun, fast-paced winery in the heart of the Carneros Region of Sonoma. We are looking for new sales-oriented employees to assist part time in our tasting room with the potential to increase hours in the peak of the season.
We are looking for energetic and outgoing people that are responsible, reliable, and hardworking. We are looking for candidates who work well in a team environment but can also think independently and perform best in a busy work environment. You must have a great personality, the ability to converse and engage with people from different walks of life, as well as the confidence to hold group tastings. A passion for wine and sales is preferred. Weekend availability is a MUST!
Hospitality Associates are responsible for providing guests outstanding customer service and a memorable tasting experience which will lead to sales of wine and wine club memberships. Associates are responsible for promoting Larson Family Winery’s brand essence and philosophies through the tasting room via wine sales, tastings, and events. Further tasks include educating visitors on our farming philosophies and wines, assisting with the daily operations of the tasting room and other sales activities.
Tasting Room Team duties:
Greeting and engaging with guests
Providing tastings for guests
Educating guests on our wines
Increase wine club signups
Work all winery events
Basic Requirements:
Must be 21 or older
Must have weekend availability
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Two years sales experience or work experience relative to this industry (Hospitality, Restaurant, and Customer Service)
Qualifications:
Outstanding customer service
Friendly, courteous and approachable attitude
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Work in a fast paced environment
Team player and possess good communication skills
Ability to spend long hours on your feet
Must be able to work weekends and occasional nights
