Marketing Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the project management of marketing programs or activities in support of the products offered through our multiple sales channels; ensuring high level of attention to detail and accuracy with professionalism and meeting deadlines; proactively anticipating and handling critical situations.  The Marketing Coordinatorworks in partnership with Sales, Distribution, Hospitality and Finance to facilitate proactive and efficient communication and execution of business plan objectives. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Manages multiple and concurrent projects with marketing managers as needed which could include; writing copy; designing and coordinating of projects; sourcing/research on vendors and/or products; proofreading and approving copy; coding and submitting purchase orders and tracking associated point-of-sale coordination for all brands.
• Manages social media presence on behalf of several brands including blog entries (2x/month), website updates, and ongoing social media content calendar. Regularly post on behalf of the brand and engage with consumers via established social media channels. Report ongoing progress to marketing team and cross functional teams.
• Tracks new accolades and wine releases; to include database maintenance and creation of wine tech sheets and distribution to sales team nationally.
• Creates and/or edit materials for meetings presentations and/or marketing collateral & sales sheets for Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, and PR.
• Maintains coupon registration and redemption tracking and reporting.
• Assist with execution of tastings and events, coordinate samples for competition and media mailings.
• Tracks and monitors national sales programs.
• Generates monthly reports for sales team and develops ongoing presentation and reporting skills.
• Run social media advertising campaigns on behalf of Gloria Ferrer, tracks spend and reports on performance and optimization strategy.
• Administers and reports on donation requests on behalf of the winery. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as one of the back-ups to the receptionist and screens calls for Marketing Department.
• Represent brand at trade, distributor or consumer events frequently as brand ambassador and key marketing team member. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisor responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent experience;
• Experience in administering or coordinating marketing activities;
• Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills; Experience writing reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals and informational presentations;
• MS Office proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Photoshop or Illustrator a plus;
• Proven organization and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines;
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel in a timely manner;
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
