CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE POSITION SUMMARY
Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients via professional project management guidance, response speed in all communications, accuracy, and by discovering ways to add value to a client’s business via improved labels and packaging management.
This position both supports the activities of company Outside Account Representatives by helping managing their accounts internally, and manages “personal” accounts directly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build the plant relationship with new and existing customers, working with the Digital Print Manager to ensure all aspects of service to the customer, such as schedule, quality of product, on-time delivery, and service recovery issues are resolved to achieve business results.
• Typical accounts include wineries, spirits producers, food producers, and nutraceutical companies.
• Project Engineering: Discussing projects with prospects and clients and offering guidance on label production aesthetics, costs, time, etc.This may or may not include discussing the project with graphics and production personnel to ensure we deliver the best result for clients.
• Create one or more estimates using “LabelTraxx”, a label printing industry software product, and send estimates via PDF.
• Upon receipt of order, coordinate order processing to provide project to the graphics and production personnel.
• Document and coordinate customer complaints and concerns with a focus on facilitating issues resolution at the plant and overall communication, internally and to the customer.
• Work closely with production and graphics staff to continually learn and help provide prospects and clients optimum packaging alternatives.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Education or experience in graphics/printing industry is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft “Word” and “Outlook”, working with PDF files, and other PC related activities is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft “Excel” is preferred but not required.
• Building positive relationships with co-workers, prospects and clients (People skills) is key.
• Working in a fast-paced environment creates the need for strong multi-tasking abilities, organizational and planning skills, and work ethic.
• Includes a lot of autonomy. Self-management, resourcefulness, and a strong ability to be a self-starter are important.
• Professional approach to problem solving and interactions with co-workers, clients, and suppliers.
