The primary focus of this position is to greet and host guests at Pangloss Cellars, maintaining an experience-driven approach: quality wines and genuine, thorough, exceptional service that fosters long-term personal relationships and brand loyalty.

Responsibilities:
• Greet guests in a warm, gracious and professional manner
• Manage flow of guests (both scheduled appointments and walk-ins)
• Proactive communication of guest arrival to their host ensuring seamless and thorough service
• At peak capacity maintain wait list, proactively communicate availability in fast paced environment
• Respond to appointment requests (phone and email) in a timely and professional manner
• Properly enter Member and guest reservations, confirm reservations (phone and email)
• Proactively make recommendations and for lodging, transportation, restaurant and other winery visits
• Continuously monitor the general appearance and ambience of the Tasting Lounge
• Provide back-up support to the front of house team when needed
• Opening/closing procedures, daily metrics
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Hospitality Manager
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (phone, e-mail and face-to-face)
• Enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic communication style
• Detail oriented and ability to maintain, create and manage daily schedule
• High-energy and fast-paced environment, on your feet for long periods of time
• Self-starter, internally driven and motivated. You work hard because getting things done, fast and well, is rewarding and gets you fired up
• Weekends, some holidays and some evenings required
