WX has a job opening for a Bottling Mechanic at our Sonoma Bottling Line facility. We bottle four days per week, 10 hours days and are looking for someone able to work our alternative work week shift of Tuesday - Friday, 10 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under little or no supervision, performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install troubleshoot, repair and modify facilities, mechanical and bottling equipment.

• Follows blueprints, drawings and general instructions to plan and layout assignments.

• Reviews service requests for repairs, determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution. Coordinates work of outside contractors.

• Must be willing and able to operate bottling line equipment while others are on break

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in bottling, labeling, and packaging equipment repairs.
• H.S. diploma with formal trade school training in electronics and PLC controls.
• Must be able program and trouble shoot electronic equipment including PLC’s (Allen Bradley or Siemans) and other electronic control equipment and maintain, troubleshoot and repair bottling line equipment, such as depalletizers, spargers, fillers, screw capping and corking machines, capsulator/spinner, tamper band machine, heat tunnels, labelers, drop packers, conveyors, box sealers, and palletizers.
• Experience reading and using equipment manuals, equipment drawings and electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
• Must have basic math skills and have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with the aid of a calculator. Basic computer skills required. Familiarity with Outlook, Word and Excel are desired.
• Must juggle different duties at once, prioritize and multitask.
• Must identify clear priorities and focus on them at all times
• Must work any shift and overtime as required by business needs.
• Excellent English communication skills and fluency in Spanish is highly desired
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have valid CA Drivers License
• Must be able to push, lift and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Certifications recommended, may not be required.
• Own tools, toolbox and tool pouch.
