Woodfour Brewing Co. is looking for a sales representative to join our team here at home in the SF Bay area. We are an expanding craft brewery focusing on producing terroir driven sour, farmhouse, and Belgian inspired beers. We have an extensive barrel aging and mixed culture fermentation program and are located in Sebastopol, Ca in the heart of Sonoma County.
Job Responsibilities
• Maintain current account relationships within the assigned territory
• Develop long-term relationships with new and existing accounts
• Visit customers regularly to take orders in self-distributed areas and ensure customer satisfaction at all accounts
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales within sales territory
• Identify potential new accounts and develop action plan to bring them online as a customer
• Bring samples and discuss beer options with new and existing accounts
• Train distributors & retail accounts (including bartender & wait staff personnel) on all brands
• Schedule and participate in tastings, special events, and festivals that may occur any day of the week or after standard business hours
• Night and weekend work required
• Occasional Beer Deliveries
• Some overnight stays within territory may be required
Job Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in sales within the craft beer (or similar) industry is required
• In-depth knowledge of the brewing processes and beer styles
• Knowledge and passion for the craft beer industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to speak confidently and professionally in front of groups while conducting tastings and trainings
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Must be able to drive long distances regularly
• Mileage reimbursement provided if a company issued vehicle is not available
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule outside of regular business hours as needed including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to represent Woodfour Brewing in a responsible and professional manner at all times.
• Be willing to complete a responsible beverage service, LEEDS, or similar course
• Valid clean CA Drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move kegs
• Computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Gmail, Google Calendar
• Willingness to be adaptable and complete tasks sometimes out of the regular scope of the job (we are a small company and all wear many hats)
