Small Vines Wines is looking for enthusiastic, hard-working interns to join our team for the 2017 vintage. Our newly build winery is located in mid of the estate vineyard just outside of Sebastopol, CA.
The interns will be working with a veteran winemaker to produce wine for five different boutique, high-end wine labels. All fermented in small batches utilizing wild yeast. We process grapes from three distinct growing regions mostly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, but also Bordeaux and Rhone varieties. Interns will be hands on in all of the stages of making wine. Being a strong member of our team means that you have to take initiative and are willing to do whatever tasks are needed for smooth operation of our facility.
Previous winery experience preferred but not required.

• Cleaning and sanitation
• Sorting
• Must/ wine movements
• Cap management
• Fermentation monitoring
• Additions
The position would begin, depending on the timing of harvest, August through October. The starting and ending dates are flexible and subject to change.
