Emeritus Vineyards and Winery processes about 300 tons of ultra-premium Pinot Noir from Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. We are committed to the highest quality standards in both vineyard management and wine production, and are currently seeking interns to join our team for the 2017 harvest. The internship would start mid-June and would run through the end of October depending on the season. This position offers a range of experience, including but not limited to:
• Running pumps, dragging hoses and general wine/juice movements
• Filling barrels
• Winery sanitation
• Punch downs / Cap management
• Crush equipment operation
• Assisting with draining and pressing
Qualifications:
• At least one previous harvest
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Basic math
• Good sense of humor and curiosity
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Desire to produce high quality Pinot noir
