*Sourcing Manager*

*Position Overview:*
The primary purpose of the role is to provide proactive, forward looking Sourcing support, covering tactical and strategic supplier selection and management for the VinAsset Wine Producer Membership. The Sourcing Manager will assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, both short (seasonal/annual) and long term (3-5yrs) for the assigned product categories. Research, identify and develop production sourcing markets and suppliers that meet the product supply requirements of the assigned categories. Responsible for developing, planning, scheduling and formulating sourcing strategies to meet procurement goals and objectives. Identifies savings opportunities, sourcing options, and supplier alternatives. Leads direct supplier negotiations and contract execution. Implements and documents sourcing policies and metrics to ensure savings goals are realized. Communicates supplier selection decisions to GPO Membership, impacted associates and leaders. Partners with GPO Membership customers to maximize the terms for their equipment and service related needs. Drafts, negotiates and manages complex contracts. Provides ongoing supplier management. Must have demonstrated capability in drafting and negotiating large-scale, complex agreements including, but not limited to, the purchase of goods and professional services in direct/indirect procurement industries ranging from production supplies to administrative services.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Development and implementation of commodity strategy, management and strategic implementation
Lead supplier assessment activities through management of formal RFI, RFP and RFQ processes
Lead supplier capability review, selection and qualification activities
Lead supplier negotiation and contract execution for large-scale, membership-wide volume purchase agreements
Complete financial and stability analysis of potential suppliers
Analyze and evaluate sources and pricing alternatives to control costs and meet targeted price points
Control supplier performance acting as an escalation point for negotiating with suppliers in the event of non-performance
Build, develop and maintain supplier and member relationships to support procurement objectives
Assess supplier performance metrics on a regular basis, acting upon opportunities for improvement
*Contract Negotiations and Management:*
Lead the development and maintenance of terms and conditions for purchasing agreements and contracts
Understand and perform comparative analysis of bid submissions
Able to quickly drive supplier analysis, evaluation, selection and maintain supplier strategy
Able to prepare, lead and finalize negotiations with suppliers
Lead activities which ensure suppliers meet defined requirements, goals and targets
*Contract Compliance and Administration:*
Work with Legal, Audit, Compliance, Security, Privacy and other internal personnel to review and approve contract documentation
Support the Contract Administration function, including Document Management, Process Workflows, and Reporting & Compliance requirements
Update and maintain contract templates and other required documents as necessary
*Supplier Management:*
Assist in problem resolution when members are not able to resolve facilitating the escalation process in order to meet member needs
Effectively manage supplier performance by developing and implementing appropriate long term corrective actions
Routinely meet with current suppliers to bring new and improved product solutions forward
Manage supplier relationships and be primary business contact for key suppliers.

*Qualifications:*
*Wine industry procurement expertise is highly desired*
Bachelors degree in a business related discipline such as purchasing, supply chain management, business or a related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
3-5 years experience in procurement contract negotiation and contract management
3-5 years procurement/commodity management experience
2-3 years experience with the legal and financial aspects of procurement
2-3 years experience in reporting and analysis tools
Experience with Coupa eProcurement platform or equivalent is strongly preferred, but not required.
