Tasting Room Representative (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

M4 is a joint tasting room located in downtown Saratoga featuring the wines of Michael Martella, winemaker at Thomas Fogarty Winery and Michael Michaud, former winemaker of Chalone Winery. Both winemakers have over 30 years of experience making elegant and delicious wines. Each winemaker has their own unique and individual brand which are extremely small production wines that are flavorful and distinguished.

Michaud Martella Tasting Room is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for excellent wines to work in our tasting room. We are seeking someone who is motivated with a positive attitude with excellent customer service and sales abilities. Must be able to work weekends and evening hours. Previous tasting room experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers in a friendly, timely manner
Explaining wines available for tasting in an articulate manner
Promoting wine sales and club memberships
Entering sales orders in the POS system
Basic housekeeping such as washing and buffing stemware, stocking inventory and ensuring tasting room is clean and presentable at all times
Shipping/packaging wine
Special events as needed
