We are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator, based in the Santa Rosa office, who will assist regional managers in production of custom label projects, manage samples, compute and analyze sales data, generate reports as needed, interface with customers, as well as communicate with other departments within the company. This position is part of a rapidly growing national sales team that requires a high level of organization and communication. We are seeking a candidate that can effectively assist in the day to day operation and administration of sales. The ideal person for this position will have a can do attitude and will be able to anticipate the needs/opportunities of their assigned business. This position can and will offer opportunities for advancement within our fast paced and high growth organization. This position reports to the National Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Production liaison between internal production team and Regional Sales Managers, enters production projects in company database, and attends internal production meetings
• Maintain price lists and eventually pricing grids
• Data entry in company production and reporting systems
• Responsible for sample room and fulfills all sample requests from Regional Sales Managers
• Maintain inventory of both wine and packaging materials
• Point person for clearing business administration
• Account Manager for select Clubs and House accounts
• First point of contact for cold calls/new business via website
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA /BS 4 year degree
• Minimum 1-2 years of industry or related experience
• Ability to manage, develop, and implement strategic plans to maximize efficiencies
• Strong time management, organizational & interpersonal skills
• Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Familiarity with a variety of beverage/spirit concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong computer skills
