Fine Wine Sales (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Job Description:
Vintage Wine Marketing is looking for a sales representative for Santa Monica and surrounding areas who will focus on opening new accounts. You must be knowledgeable about domestic and foreign wines. 

We are looking for someone who can:
* Speak comfortably about domestic and import wines
* Service accounts on a regular basis
* Establish and grow an account base of fine restaurants and retailers
* Supplier work-withs
* Weekly reporting of account calls
* Attendance at sales meetings
* Must be able to close sales and use samples wisely
* Proven and well-established existing account relationships within territory is a benefit

Qualifications:

* Knowledge of domestic and imported wines
* Minimum of two years wine sales experience in San Francisco
* Dependable vehicle with current registration, valid California Drivers License, proof of in-force automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record
* Ability to lift and carry a 40 lb case of wine.Two or more years wine sales
* Territory familiarity
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Enthusiasm for selling wine and working with small wineries
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently 

Salary Information: 10% commission with a bonus for each new account open.
