Orcutt Road Cellars is a family owned and operated custom crush facility in the Edna Valley, producing high quality wines from throughout California. Our brands include Baileyana, Tangent, Cadre, Zocker, and True Myth, in addition to custom crush clients. We are a state-of-the-art facility employing both advanced technology and traditional methods to craft the finest wines possible. Employees will gain experience in winery and laboratory harvest operations.

Job Description

  • Preparing the lab for daily analysis, including machine calibrations and reagent standardization
  • Tank and barrel sampling
  • Pumpovers/punchdowns
  • Performing all grape maturity, juice, and wine analysis according Standard Operating Procedures (Brix, pH, TA, YAN)
  • Preparing standards and reagents
  • Communicating with winemakers regarding daily analysis and fermentation status
  • Data Entry
