Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants is a wine distributor in California and Hawaii, selling some of the world’s best wines. We’ve been in business for 45 years and we’re continually growing. We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our San Francisco team.
Position Summary: This is a call center position that requires proficient/accurate data entry, enthusiastic communication and strong organizational skills. You’ll be working independently and with a team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of customer service related tasks including processing customer orders and answering customer inquiries.
Job Responsibilities/ Required Skills:
Enter customer orders (internal/external) via phone, email and in person.
Freely navigate our operating system in order to handle inquiries regarding order status, pricing, order processes and inventory availability.
Skilled in telephone etiquette while efficiently accessing information regarding open orders, product restrictions and shipping dates.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Work with outside delivery services to resolve order discrepancies and delivery windows.
Maintain file systems and daily filing tasks for delivery receipts and credits as required.
Work with the manager directly to train and work on special tasks while performing regular duties.
Qualifications:
Excellent data entry and computer skills.
Strong organizational skills with capacity to multi-task while meeting deadlines.
Exceptional customer service skills with friendly phone presence.
A team player and can work alone with minimal supervision.
Practical experience with data entry and customer service.
Hours are 10:30am – 7:00pm Monday – Thursday, with flexibility to start earlier on Fridays.
Hours are 10:00am – 6:30pm during Daylight Savings Time.
